What do you check before sharing a health headline? (17 อ่าน)

When a health headline says a risk is lower, I want to see the actual numbers. A percentage on its own leaves me with questions about how many people were affected and how long the study lasted.
I am sharing the MedProofs health news section as a place to start reading. A news report is still a summary, so for a result that matters to me I would also want the original paper. What do you look for before sharing a health story?
