I’m considering getting a new wardrobe for my bedroom and have been looking into Sliding Door Wardrobes. They seem like a practical option, especially for rooms where space is limited because the doors don’t need additional room to open outwards.

I particularly like the clean, modern look they can give to a bedroom. There are also quite a few options when it comes to finishes, colours, mirrors and internal storage layouts.

For those who already have sliding wardrobes, how has your experience been? Are they easy to maintain and do the sliding mechanisms stay smooth over time?

I’d also be interested to know what people prefer between mirrored, wood-effect and plain-colour finishes. If you’ve had a fitted sliding wardrobe installed, what features would you recommend including inside, such as drawers, shelves, shoe storage or hanging space?
