I’ve been looking at different ways to make better use of a loft bedroom, especially where sloping ceilings and unusual corners make standard wardrobes difficult to fit.

One option I came across is loft wardrobes, which can be designed around the available space rather than trying to fit a standard-size wardrobe into an awkward area. They seem particularly useful for loft conversions because the storage can follow the angle of the ceiling and make use of areas that might otherwise be wasted.

I’m interested in hearing from anyone who has had fitted storage installed in a loft bedroom. Did you find that bespoke wardrobes made a noticeable difference to the amount of usable storage?
