What small changes have actually helped keep pests away? (26 อ่าน)

I’m interested in the simple things people do to reduce the chance of pests getting into their homes. Keeping food sealed and taking rubbish out regularly seem obvious, but I’m wondering whether things like sealing gaps, checking drains or keeping storage areas tidy make much difference.
I’d rather prevent a problem than deal with a full infestation later.
For anyone who has had pest issues in London before, what change made the biggest difference for you?
