What Makes a Coworker Farewell Special? (4 อ่าน)

14 ส.ค. 2569 11:31

A colleague is leaving our team after several years, and we've been discussing how to make their last week a little more memorable. We don't want to make the farewell overly formal. Instead, we're looking for something simple that reflects the time we've spent working together and gives everyone a chance to say something meaningful.

We thought farewell cards for coworkers could be a***d starting point. Rather than asking everyone to write the same type of message, we could collect different kinds of memories. One person might share a funny experience from an old project, while another might write about something they learned from the colleague.

Our team also has quite a few funny moments, so funny***dbye cards could add some personality to the farewell. I think humor works particularly well when it comes from genuine shared experiences, although it's probably worth balancing the jokes with a few sincere messages of appreciation.

Another idea is to ask everyone to contribute a short message before the person's final day. That way, even colleagues who are working remotely or can't attend the farewell gathering can still take part. A collection of personal notes could become a*** reminder of the people and experiences from that stage of their career.

For those who have organized a coworker's farewell recently, what did you include? Did your team create a card, put together photos and memories, organize a small gathering, or do something completely different?
