Ideas for a More Personal Coworker Farewell (4 อ่าน)

14 ส.ค. 2569 11:15

A coworker on our team is leaving for a new opportunity soon, and we've been discussing what we could do to make their last day feel a little more memorable. We don't want to organize anything too complicated. A small gesture from the people they've worked with seems like it would be enough.

One idea I liked was putting together farewell cards for coworkers where everyone could write something personal. Instead of asking people to leave the same generic message, we could encourage everyone to share a favorite memory, a lesson they learned from the person, or simply something they appreciated about working together.

I also think funny***dbye cards can work really well when the team has a relaxed relationship. A few harmless inside jokes or funny stories from projects can make everyone laugh while still keeping the overall message positive. The best approach probably depends on the person's personality and the kind of relationship they have with the team.

Another idea is to combine humorous messages with a few sincere notes. That way, the card doesn't feel too serious or too much like a collection of jokes. It becomes a record of the different experiences people shared with the person who is leaving.

For those who have organized a coworker's farewell before, what worked best for you? Did you use funny messages, personal memories, photos, or another creative idea to make the***dbye more memorable?
