We make handcrafted 7 chakra bracelets using natural gemstones

and have been using this combination for a while now:



Root Chakra — Lava Stone (black, porous, volcanic)

Sacral Chakra — Carnelian (orange-red)

Solar Plexus — Tiger Eye (golden brown)

Heart Chakra — Green Aventurine

Throat Chakra — Sodalite (blue with white veining)

Third Eye — Amethyst

Crown Chakra — Clear Quartz or Amethyst



We also add an Om center bead and 925 sterling silver spacers.



The lava stone question is what I'm most curious about —

we source porous black volcanic beads but the density and

porosity varies a lot between batches. Some pieces are very

light and porous, others are denser. Is this just natural

variation in basalt/scoria or are there different volcanic

materials being mixed in supply chains?



Also curious — does anyone here have strong opinions on

which stones are most mineralogically appropriate for

chakra *** vs which ones are just used because of color?
