Still trying to figure out which rifles are worth spending money on in CS2. Is the AK worth it over the M4 or does it depend on which side you are playing?

AK is generally the go to for T side because of the one shot headshot potential through helmets. On CT side the M4A4 and M4A1-S both have their uses depending on your playstyle. M4A1-S is quieter and more accurate but has a smaller magazine which can be a problem in certain situations

Weapon choice really comes down to understanding the stats behind each gun. Damage, armor penetration, recoil patterns — all of it matters depending on the situation.
