Automatic Staging: Simply drive up to the starting grid at any of the three main strips and hit the "ready up" button. Your car will lock perfectly into position without fiddling with placement.

Synchronized Tree Lights: The Christmas Tree lights are synchronized for all racers. Jumping the start will get you disqualified for that run, so watch the green carefully.

Launch Control: Hold both the brake and throttle while staged to build revs. Release the brake the instant the green light hits. Perfect timing here can shave tenths of a second off your run.

2. Essential Tuning Strategies

Drag racing is all about explosive starts and maintaining momentum down the strip. These tuning tips will give you an edge:

Tires & Pressure: Always equip Drag Tires. Lower rear tire pressure to around 23–25 PSI to maximize grip during your launch.

Suspension: Soften rear springs and dampers to allow weight transfer to the rear tires. This helps your car “stick” to the track and reduces wheel spin off the line.

Gearing: Adjust your final drive to a shorter ratio. This gives better acceleration while making sure you reach top gear just before the finish line, depending on the strip length.

Irokawa Space Center – 1/4 Mile: Perfect for lightweight cars or builds focused on pure acceleration.

Itto Airfield – 1/2 Mile: Requires a mix of launch and mid-range pull. Balance your gearing and torque curve for best results.

Festival Site – 1 Kilometer: Big horsepower shines here. Max out top speed to take advantage of the longer distance.

Weekly Leaderboards: Drag Meets feature real-time, in-world leaderboards that reset weekly. Compete with friends and rivals to find the fastest tune for that week. Observe their setups, then tweak your own to climb the rankings.
