What are your go-to suppliers for ELISA kits? I’ve been doing a lot of biomarker analysis lately, and the reproducibility between kits from different vendors is just all over the place. It's really impacting my confidence in the data. I'm specifically looking for reliable kits for inflammatory cytokines, but any recommendations would be appreciated. Bonus points if they also have***d customer support, because troubleshooting is sometimes a necessary evil. Do you all stick to the big-name brands, or have you found success with some of the smaller companies?

Thinking about ELISA kits, it шs pretty amazing how they have become such a standard tool in research. Back in the day, quantifying proteins was way more laborious and time-consuming. Now, you can screen dozens of samples in a single afternoon! Of course, with that ease comes the responsibility of ensuring the data is accurate. It will be interesting to see where this all leads.

I hear you on the reproducibility issues! Consistency is so important when you are analyzing those results. We had a similar problem in our lab until we started trying different suppliers for our assays. If you're open to exploring new options, I wouldd suggest checking out https://gentaur.co.uk/. Our lab uses a range of their products, including ELISA kits and antibodies, and we have generally been happy with the quality. It is important to validate any new kit for your specific experimental conditions, of course. Great customer service is a massive plus
