Anybody else feel like car shopping here is just emotionally exhausting? (5 อ่าน)

I've been at this for almost three weeks now, every evening after work and most of my weekends, and honestly I'm starting to feel drained. I've driven out to Ras Al Khor three times, gone to Sharjah twice, scrolled through Dubizzle so much that I dream about listings, and I still haven't found a car that makes me feel confident enough to hand over my money. The last one I went to see was a 2019 Hyundai Tucson that looked amazing in the photos but when I got there the tires were completely bald on the inside edge which makes me think the alignment was off for ages and nobody bothered to fix it. The seller kept saying it's just tires and I'm being too picky, but if they neglected something that obvious what else did they ignore, you know? I'm starting to question whether I'm being too cautious or if this is just how it goes when you're trying to find something decent in the used market. A colleague at work told me to just pick the one that feels right and then get a Pre Purchase Car Inspection done so at least I'm not guessing, and honestly that sounds like a much better use of my time than spending another weekend driving around the city looking at cars that turn out to be disappointments. Has anyone else hit that wall where you just want the whole process to be over but you also don't want to settle for something that's going to cause problems later?
