How is RTP calculated? (317 อ่าน)

I often see the term RTP (Return to Player) in descriptions of*** games, but I don't fully understand how it is calculated. As far as I understand, this indicator affects the chances of a player, but what exactly does it mean? Is it some kind of average winning percentage or just a marketing move? For example, if a slot has an RTP of 96%, does that mean I'll definitely get 96% of the money I put in back? Or is it some sort of statistical prediction that only works over the long haul? It would be great to figure this out so that you can be more informed when choosing games!

RTP is really one of the key metrics in gambling, especially if you want to understand what your chances of winning are. Essentially, RTP is the theoretical percentage of the total amount of bets that a game returns to players in the form of winnings over the long haul. For example, if a slot has an RTP of 96%, this means that out of every $1,000 bet by players, the game will pay out an average of $960 back. But it's important to realize that this is an average and not a guarantee. RTP is calculated on millions or even billions of spins, so an individual player can both win a large sum and drain the entire bankroll in a short period of time. By the way, there is an interesting article on this topic - https://www.back2gaming.com/gaming/what-is-house-edge-and-rtp/, there is a detailed explanation of how RTP correlates with the*** advantage (house edge). You should also take into account the variance - for example, slots with high RTP, but high volatility may not give winnings for a long time, and then give a big prize. So RTP is a useful benchmark, but you should also choose the game according to other parameters!

Well, to be honest, I've never really thought about RTP. I just pick a slot that looks cool and play it for fun. Of course, it's*** to know that there are games with higher returns, but it seems to me that if you're going to play in a***, you just have to realize that it's a risk anyway. Come to think of it though, I wonder if there are games with RTPs above 100%? Or is that already a fantasy?
