This watch is the predecessor to the much-loved Carrera which appeared about two decades later. It is a lovely vintage chronograph in itself, very much in line with the general aesthetic of chronographs from the 1940s. But it's representative of where you'll end up if you ever link go link deep down the rab*** hole of Carrera history. Not to say that this should not be your first vintage Heuer chronograph, but it's one I link think you would appreciate even more if you are aware of the model's lineage.
