Practical Stunts vs CGI in Modern Action Fight Scenes (12 อ่าน)

11 มี.ค. 2569 05:03

While rewatching a few action films recently, I noticed that fights performed by actors themselves often feel much heavier than scenes filled with digital effects. In one movie the punches looked slow but powerful, almost like the performers were really tired. Do you think practical stunt work and physical training make close combat feel more believable than CGI?

Sometimes slower choreography with clear camera angles feels stronger than fast editing. Even small details like actors reacting to hits or showing fatigue can make a scene more engaging to watch.

A friend and I sometimes film short action clips just for fun, so we have tried both practical choreography and adding digital effects later. What surprised us was how much more convincing the footage looked when the movements were slower and physically controlled rather than relying on editing tricks. While researching how professional crews design intense fight scenes, I found a breakdown that explained a lot about timing, impact reactions, and camera positioning. If you want to see the explanation yourself, you can visit site and read the analysis there. After going through it, we adjusted our approach by focusing on body movement, realistic pauses, and tighter camera framing. Those changes alone made the hits feel heavier and the scene more believable even without fancy visual effects.
