Has anyone worked travel nursing contracts in Vermont? (1362 อ่าน)

Vermont has been catching my eye for my next contract, mostly because of its peaceful vibe and small-town charm. But I’m unsure what to expect work-wise. Are the hospitals there more rural or mid-sized community setups? I imagine the culture must be very different from big-city hospitals. Anyone here worked there and can share what the experience was like, especially regarding staffing ratios and team support?

Vermont offers a calmer pace but still plenty of professional growth. Most hospitals are community-based, which means close-knit teams and more direct patient relationships. If you’re exploring, check travel nursing jobs vermont — TLC Nursing posts openings that reflect the area’s unique healthcare needs. The pay is solid for the cost of living, and if you love nature or quiet towns, Vermont is an amazing choice for a seasonal contract.

That sounds exactly like what I’m looking for. After several high-stress hospital contracts in large cities, I’d welcome something more personal and less chaotic. Vermont’s balance between professional fulfillment and lifestyle sounds appealing. I’ll take a look at the listings and maybe try a shorter winter contract first to see how the culture and workload fit me long-term.

<p data-start="0" data-end="490">I actually worked a short travel contract in Vermont last year, and it was a really refreshing change of pace. Most hospitals there are indeed mid-sized community facilities — not as fast-paced as big-city centers, but still very well-organized. The staff-to-patient ratios were manageable, and I found the teams incredibly supportive, especially with onboarding. The local culture is also very community-driven; people genuinely look out for one another, which makes work less stressful.

I was also handling some remote compliance work during my downtime — having reliable online resources like this one: https://www.cybersecureria.com/sec-compliance/ made it easy to stay on top of professional requirements while traveling.
