What is Qadiyaniat?

Qadiyaniat refers to the religious movement founded in the late 19th century in British India by Mirza Ghulam Ahmad of Qadian, who claimed to be the promised Messiah and Mahdi for Muslims. His followers, also known as Ahmadis or Qadiyanis, believe in his spiritual leadership and consider him a divinely appointed reformer, which stands in contrast to mainstream Islamic beliefs that hold Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) as the final messenger. The movement has been a subject of theological debate across the Muslim world, with the majority of Islamic scholars strongly opposing the Qadiyaniat ideology and classifying it as outside the fold of Islam due to its claims about prophethood after the finality of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
