Took a chance on a mobile battery guy from some review site, here's how it went (6 อ่าน)

Okay so my wife's car decided Tuesday morning was the perfect time to make that horrible clicking noise instead of actually starting and of course she had a meeting in JLT in like forty five minutes so the whole household was in chaos. I called a couple of numbers I had saved from previous "emergencies" and one guy said he could come in three hours which is basically useless when you're standing in a parking garage sweating through your work shirt. In a moment of desperation I just typed something into Google and ended up on some review platform page, www.provenexpert.com/en-us/battery-zone2 I think it was, and the ratings looked recent enough that I figured what do I have to lose besides maybe a few hundred dirhams and my dignity if it turned out to be a scam. The bloke who answered was surprisingly coherent for 7am and gave me an actual window of arrival instead of just "inshallah soon" and to my genuine shock he showed up when he said he would, tested the old battery right there in the garage, showed me the reading which was frankly embarrassing for a battery that was allegedly only a year old, and had the new one swapped out while I was still trying to figure out where my wife left her second car key. No upselling weird additives or telling me my wiring was about to catch fire, just swapped it, started it up, took the old one away, and I transferred the money. Not saying it was a life changing experience or anything but it was refreshingly uncomplicated which is honestly all I want at that hour of the morning.
