How Do You Use the Redo Shortcut on Windows and Mac? (20 views)

25 Sep 2026 11:59

Does anyone else regularly use the redo shortcut while working on documents or designs? It can be useful when you accidentally undo an action and want to restore it quickly. On Windows, Ctrl+Y can be used to redo an undone action. Mac users can press Command-Shift-Z for the same purpose. Undo and redo commands generally work in chronological order, so actions cannot always be skipped. Which keyboard shortcut do you use most often when correcting mistakes? Do you prefer keyboard commands or menu options?
