Transparent Walls in a Children’s Dance Studio (5 views)
23 Aug 2026 13:48
We rented a space for a childrens ballet studio, but one of the walls is entirely made of glass and opens onto the shopping centers main lobby. Parents and passersby constantly stop to watch the children, which distracts them from their practice and makes them feel self-conscious. The shopping center administration prohi***s covering the wall with banners because it spoils the overall interior design. Would a light-transmitting matte film help block the view without violating the shopping centers rules? And I also forgot to ask whether it’s easy to remove when we move out, so we dont have to pay a penalty to the landlord?

This is a constant problem at dance schools - its really hard for kids to concentrate when everyone is watching them. In this case, a frosted film is the only right solution, because it looks aesthetically pleasing and completely blocks the view. I personally bought the film through https://www.tintfit.com/shop/frosted for our dance studio, and the company’s service really impressed me. The manager recommended the Opal Frost STATIC, since it’s adhesive-free: it can be removed in five minutes and leaves no residue on the landlord’s glass. It was delivered in just two days. How tall is your glass wall?
