Finding Boats for Rent in the Seychelles (21 views)
4 Mar 2026 21:56
I will be visiting the Seychelles later this year and really like to spend at least one day exploring the islands by boat. A few people I met while traveling said renting a catamaran or a small yacht is one of the best ways to see quieter beaches and snorkeling spots, but I am not sure how people usually arrange it. I have checked a couple of travel sites but most of them seem focused on hotels rather than boats. Is there an easy way to find boats or catamarans for rent online before arriving?

When I was planning my trip there, I ran into the same issue. Most general travel sites barely showed any options for boats. Eventually I found https://charterclick.sc/ and it actually made things much simpler. You can browse different yachts and catamarans around the islands and see whats available depending on the dates and type of trip you want. I booked a half day outing and it ended up being one of the highlights of the vacation. Its especially useful if you are interested in private sea escapes, because you can organize a more relaxed trip instead of joining a large tourist group.

Traveling to island destinations always feels different from typical city trips. The pace is slower, and a lot of the experience comes from just being near the water and moving around between small places. Sometimes the most memorable moments happen when you step away from crowded areas and explore quieter corners. Its interesting how being surrounded by the ocean changes the whole atmosphere of a trip.
